CIRCLE OF FRIENDS | Who do you call when you need help? Your friends!

And that is just what a group of parents and Spectrum for Living supporters are doing.

While speaking recently to a group of parents and supporters about the economic crisis and how it is affecting Spectrum for Living, Carmine Marchionda, CEO of Spectrum for Living was asked “What can we do to help the organization through this crisis?”

The answer was the creation of A Circle of Friends.

The Circle of Friends is a group of individuals who are each pledging to send a minimum of $500 to Spectrum for Living this year. The goal?  To raise funds that will be earmarked for specialized programs and services that the organization provides to its consumers. This is the Circle’s way of ensuring that the budget cuts in place this year have a minimal or zero impact on Spectrums programs.

You too can be a member of the Circle of Friends!

The Circle of Friends wants you to join them this year in their endeavor to fight back against the state’s budget cuts. You’ve helped in the past and your generosity has seen the organization through 25 years of growth. Working together, you and the other members of the Circle of Friends will guarantee that adults with developmental disabilities continue to receive every opportunity that Spectrum can provide for them.

Pledging a $500 gift is an easy way for you to make the difference. Pledging allows you to make monthly payments towards your gift all year long. For a little over $16 a week, you will help to fulfill Spectrum’s promise that services will continue and grow.
