Coronavirus (COVID-19) Response Update
Dear Family Members, Guardians and Friends of Spectrum for Living,
Good afternoon. I hope that each and every one of you and your families are well. As part of Spectrum for Living’s ongoing response to the coronavirus pandemic, we are immediately implementing the following measures to safeguard the health and well-being of both our clients and staff:
• Effective Monday, March 16, 2020, we are suspending operations at our six Adult Training Center programs located in Edison, North Haledon, Teaneck, Westwood, and Ringwood, New Jersey until further notice. Our ATC staff will be deployed to our residential programs to provide services and support to our residential clients.
• All non-essential group gatherings, respite gatherings, and all volunteer and intern programs are suspended until further notice.
• Many recreational events are suspended until further notice, and you will be advised as to which recreational events will proceed as planned.
• We are restricting access to our residential facilities to parents and guardians of Spectrum for Living clients only until further notice. We would ask that parents and guardians please only visit our facilities if absolutely necessary.
• Consistent with our agency’s infection control protocol, we are practicing enhanced sanitation and hygiene practices in order to guard against the possible spread of contagion.
We are mindful of the impact that the coronavirus pandemic has had on your family. Please know that we are doing all that we can to guard against the possible spread of contagion to Spectrum for Living clients and personnel.
Be well.
