Reopening of Spectrum for Living Adult Training Center Programs & Updated Residential Visitation Guidelines

Special Communication to Families March 15 2021

Dear Family Members, Guardians and Friends of Spectrum for Living,

Please be advised that, pursuant to guidelines issued today from the Division of Developmental Disabilities, Spectrum for Living may potentially reopen one or more of our six (6) Adult Training Centers for in-person services as early as March 29, 2021. Whether or not an individual day program reopens will depend on whether or not the county in which the program is located falls within the COVID-19 Activity Level Index Weekly Report (issued by the New Jersey Department of Health Communicable Disease Service) as a county that is safe to allow reopening. Families of in-person day program recipients will individually be contacted in advance of any reopening. Regardless of whether or not one or more of our day programs reopens for in-person services, virtual programming will continue to be provided for service recipients who wish to receive them.

Please be further advised that DDD has today issued new residential screening and visitation guidelines, which are attached hereto unedited.

We thank you for your understanding as we continue to adapt our operations to safeguard the health and well-being of our clients and staff members.
