Spectrum for Living and Paycom are starting 2023 with a newly established partnership. Paycom will support Spectrum for Living’s Recreation Program that serves clients aged 21-65+ living with autism, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, spinabifida, mental-health issues, and/or neurological impairments across northern and central New Jersey.

Spectrum for Living’s Central Recreation Department hosts dances, art classes, game nights, community trips, fitness classes, music therapy, and workplace readiness programs that keep clients active and engaged. Anticipated program results include an increase in healthy behaviors, like exercise and mindfulness, while offering a means to increase life skills, like socialization, establishing a routine, communication, workplace preparation, and time-management.

As a leading nonprofit organization serving more than 1,000 clients across Bergen, Passaic, and Middlesex counties annually, Spectrum for Living’s programs offer clients the freedom to make their own choices, become active members of society, and have access to the same opportunities as non-disabled adults have.

Funding from Paycom will be used to maintain Spectrum for Living’s successful recreational programs while expanding program scope and footprint in the community. New funding will support transportation needs, facility upgrades, and more workforce and life-skill building programs headed by our Recreation team.
