“The Voices” Chosen by the NJSSAN Awards Committee to receive the 2016 Group Achievement Award
We are thrilled to announce that Spectrum’s Self-Advocacy Group “The Voices” has been chosen by the New Jersey Statewide Self-Advocacy Network (NJSSAN) Awards Committee to receive the 2017 Group Achievement Award!
This prestigious award is reserved for a group of self-advocates that has demonstrated excellence in the areas of teamwork, commitment to the self-advocacy movement, as well as raising awareness about issues of importance to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Recipients of the Group Achievement Award are recognized for continually working to set and achieve group goals and improve the quality of life for all people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The award will be presented on Saturday, April 8th, at the 12th Annual Spring Into Action Network Luncheon. Congratulations, we are so proud of The Voices for all their hard work!!
